Eliawon Kishimbo

CPA Kishimbo brings to the table over fourteen years of expertise in the fields of Taxation, performance management, accounting, financial accounting, and finance. His involvement in policy formulation with the Institute of Accountancy Arusha showcases his commitment to shaping industry standards. Additionally, he serves as a valuable resource person for professional development, particularly with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors of Tanzania (NBAA).

Kishimbo has served as a Consultant with APT Financial Consultants and CEFA Management Consultants, specializing in accountancy and taxation training. His role as a Tax and financial consultant extends to various business sectors, including tourism, manufacturing, and natural resource operations. He has undertaken numerous consultancies in planning, accounting, finance, and taxation with both local and international organizations, including Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) like MS Training Centre for Development Cooperation (MS-TCDC), Tourism and Public Relations Services (Serengeti Balloon Safaris), Stephano Moshi Memorial University College, Haki Kazi Catalyst, and the Institute of Accountancy Arusha. Registered as a practicing tax consultant in Tanzania, Mr. Kishimbo also serves as an assistant lecturer at the Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA).

Holding a Certified Public Accountant (CPA(T)) certificate and a Certificate of Practice as a Tax Consultant from NBAA, he completed his Bachelor of Commerce with an accounting option at the University of Dar es Salaam in 1999 and earned a Master of Science in Finance and Investments (MSc FI) from Coventry University in the UK. His academic achievements include a first division Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education at Umbwe Secondary School in 1994 and a first division Certificate of Secondary Education at Natiro Secondary School in 1991. Mr. Kishimbo continually enhances his knowledge through participation in various consultancies, short training programs, and seminars, covering areas such as taxation, international financial reporting, and corruption and ethics infrastructure.
